John has over 13 years experience in management and the beauty industry. He began his career in the hotel industry and fell into a passion for hair. It is this combined experience that has led him to own and operate Legar Salon. He keeps his intention clear and simple: Serve others and do great hair. With this philosophy, he is able to connect and lead his team to a peaceful life.

Elizabeth Barragan
Designer & Colorist

With 4 years experience, Elizabeth loves being creative and connecting with her clients, making them look their best. In addition to cutting and color services, Elizabeth also offers hair relaxers and the keratin smoothing treatment.

Melanie Hegna
Designer & Colorist

Melanie has over 6 years experience in the business and loves making people look their best! In addition to her regular services she specializes in extensions and hair styling.

Tina Guy
Colorist

Tina has a tremendous passion for hair color. She specializes in color blocking, color melting and highlighting hair. In addition to these services she also offers hair smoothing services. She has always been interested in art, color and beauty and has incorporated these interests into her 3 years in the business.

Katie Lesley
Desinger/Colorist

Katie began her training at the Paul Mitchell Institute and came to Legar for her advanced training. With over 3 years in the business she is dedicated and excited to work in the world of beauty.

Kim Tuozzoli

With more than 21 years of experience in the business, Kim enjoys combining social skills with creativity in the work she does. Growing up around the business with a father in the fashion industry and uncles in the hair business has certainly had an impact on her. Kim specializes in men’s cuts and short hair styles and has trained in most major U.S. cities, Canada and London.

A fascination with hair at an early age turned into a passion for hair. Tony has been in the business now for over 32 years and truly loves designing a combination cut and color to suit each clients face and lifestyle.

Nobue Kawahara
Sr. Designer / Co-Op Member

Early in life Nobue found pleasure in styling her sister and mothers hair. She feels “hooked” on the business and has been successful at it for over 33 years. She works on all hair types and enjoys working with strong shapes in the hair.

Jaime Garcia
Co-Founder/Sr. Designer & Colorist

With 30 years experience, Jaime’s talent is seen through combining cut and color to compliment skin tone and face shape. His style is contemporary and classic with a focus on English and French techniques. His formal training with Yosh for hair and Vidal Sassoon has enabled him to explore his talents in cities such as San Francisco, Beverly Hills, Paris, France and now Palo Alto.

Claudia Huard
Designer

Claudia started her 6 years in the business wanting a career where she could combine creativity and human connection. She enjoys teaching clients to work with their hair in a simple and easy way. She works with all hair types and has worked specifically to understand curly hair.

Chantel Quiroga
Colorist

With 7 years experience Chantel loves the idea of transforming a clients’ look to change their appearance. She takes pride in helping clients feel beautiful and feel good about themselves. Using her love for color chemistry and her ability to connect with others keeps her really excited about her job as a colorist.

Jorel Mee
Colorist

Jorel's 13 years in the business was prompted by her sister who is a hairdresser. She was encouraged to follow the talent and passion she had for hair. She really enjoys helping people feel younger and good about their appearance.

Rena Love
Desinger/Colorist

With a strong background in make-up, becoming a hairdresser was a natural fit for Rena. She has a combined experience of 6 years. She chose this industry because it is creative and enjoys empowering both men and women to look their best.
